Young creatives present 5 innovative projects
One of the highlights of the event Putting the Creativity on the Map, which took place on May 16 at the new headquarters of Prato’s Chamber of Commerce, was when five young creatives presented their ‘Ready to use ideas’ to the companies, ideas which aim to generate creativity and innovation in the areas of textiles and fashion.
Lavinia Biancalani presented the project CCT-SeeCity, combining the best of a guide and a web magazine. Thanks to a network of correspondents around the world, it presents through new eyes interesting places, cultural initiatives and fashion news from across the globe.
Giula Campostrini and Elena Roccheforti presented Stereo Fabric, glasses which allow users to view photos of textile samples in 3D.
Fabio Bonini and Francesco Puccinelli talked about Playd, a new portable radio concept: a fabric accessory for iPads with an integrated speaker.
Laura Rebeschini presented Keep Care, a study containing guidelines to create an ad hoc line of clothing specifically for the needs of Alzheimer's patients.
Finally, Valentina Valente spoke about The Flexible Wall, a project for walls in technical fabric which are modular and retractable, ideal for dividing small spaces and public areas.
